The Artists

Anne Lapierre : actress, puppeteer and visual artist. On the big screen, we saw her in Les signes vitaux by Sophie Deraspe, L’heure bleue by Sara Bourdeau, RESSAC by Pascale Ferland et Plus rien ne vouloir by Anne Émond. As a puppeteer, she toured many years with Le Théâtre de l’œil and was main puppeteer in the long feature Hugo le dragon by Philippe Baylauq. In 2016, she created a one-woman-show, PENSE-BÊTE (BEASTS), where she marries her skills in acting, in puppet and objects theater, in body shadows and in visual arts. A poetic satire where the animal kingdom settles its scores with the human beast in a battle of words, ideologies, and shadows!
